LDB Construction is totally committed to providing a safe environment for all our staff, this remains our number one priority. We regularly review our Health and Safety policy and ensure that all our employees, sub-contractors and suppliers are in compliance with our procedures.
We only employ site operatives who are trained in the appropriate first aid courses and our Health and Safety files are regularly updated and backed-up at our head office. Our full-time Health and Safety officers ensure that sites are always safe, productive and in line with the guidelines set out by our appointed CDM advisor.
All our operatives are fully compliant with current CSCS legislation – which LDB accepts as a minimum level of site safety and competency. CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients alike – and any operative or contractor unable to provide proof of their CSCS affiliation will not be allowed access onto any of our sites.
