Workplace wellbeing
The mental and physical wellbeing of our staff is an unyielding priority.
By providing access to training and education, we encourage our staff to further their professional development. To date, we have supported many of our staff to successfully obtain their Charterships through the Chartered Institution of Building. We also actively encourage our younger, up-and-coming stars to make use of our support programme to obtain further professional qualifications through distance learning and part-time study.
Environmental responsibility
LDB Construction takes continuous, practical steps towards our goal of becoming London’s greenest super-prime residential contractor.
- We support the climate action platform Ecologi, and pledge to plant one thousand new trees every year.
- We have replaced single-use rubble bags with reusable poly-textile rubble sacks, saving 500,000 plastic rubble bags annually.
- 75% of our site operatives prefer bicycles for their commute through LDB’s Bike to Work scheme.
- Our purchasing department prioritises products with recycled content and multi-use materials.
- We aim to use 5% reclaimed materials in our projects, seeking architects and designers who share this goal.
